ABOUT ME
My name is Bastiaan, a young Dutch guy and founder of ESTUCASA RENTAL. After finishing my International Business and Languages studies in Amsterdam in 2017, I decided to follow my dream to start my own business in Colombia.
In 2011 I visited Colombia for the first time and since then I have been back for several times. I studied the Spanish language in Bogotá and Barranquilla, did a marketing internship in Bogotá and travelled around the country with my backpack. I experienced how difficult it is to find housing in Colombia, especially when searching for it from abroad without connections in Colombia. I also noticed that a student house as I knew it from my time in Amsterdam did not yet exist in Bogotá. Therefore, I decided to create the ESTUCASA residence in Bogotá. I want to create an environment where international students meet new people and get the chance to see all the great things Bogotá, and Colombia, have to offer. With the creation of ESTUCASA I also wish to make it easier for international students to take the step to move to Colombia and see the beauty of this country and its people with their own eyes.
